No. There are no prices, no fees between members, and no listings visible to strangers. A Fold is invite-only, and what's inside it stays there.

The pinned list doesn't know who has the ladder right now. fold in does: every item has a photo, a home, an owner, and a live status, and every borrow closes with a handoff code and a return. Nothing depends on somebody remembering to update a message.

Download the app and sign in with your email. If a friend sent you an invite link, it drops you straight into their Fold; otherwise start your own and invite people yourself. Get the app.

No. You sign in with a six-digit code sent to your email each time. There's nothing to remember and nothing to leak.

Only the people in the same Fold as you. Items added to one Fold are not visible in another, and nothing you add is ever public.

Fifteen on the Free plan, twenty-five on Plus, and up to one hundred fifty on Household. Small is the point; the caps keep a Fold feeling like a circle of people who know each other. See plans.

Yes. Your siblings, your block, and your climbing crew can each have their own. You choose which Folds each item belongs to.

You can invite anyone with the link, but fold in has no discovery and no way to find people you don't know. It works best with people you'd trust with a spare key, and everything about the app assumes that trust exists.

Leave from the Fold's settings any time. Your items come with you, and anything you've borrowed still needs to go back first.

Yes, from the app or from this page. Deletion removes your account and your items.

Yes, and it's the best part. Reading four digits to your neighbor takes three seconds, and it's the moment both of you agree the thing changed hands.

Join the queue. When the item comes back, the next person in line gets a nudge that it's their turn.

Scan the item's QR code on the shelf where it lives, or add a quick return photo. Either one closes the borrow and puts the item back in the catalog.

The app sends a gentle nudge, to them and to you. Late doesn't mean lost; most late returns are somebody forgetting a rake exists. If it drags on, you can open an incident and sort it out together.

Yes. The item shows wherever you've shared it, and the moment someone borrows it, every Fold sees it as out.

Yes, as a bundle. The camping kit or the raclette set moves as one borrow with one handoff and one return.

The app is free to start, and lending between members is free on every plan. Two optional paid plans, Plus at $4.99 a month and Household at $8.99 a month, raise your limits for bigger circles. Both are bought in the app through the App Store or Google Play. Compare plans.

No. Nothing inside a Fold costs money, so there's nothing to take a cut of. The only thing for sale is a bigger ceiling.

Not through fold in. There are no prices and no payments between members, on purpose. If you want to rent things out, a marketplace will treat you better.

The borrow pauses on an incident screen where both of you see what happened, can talk it through, and close it together. The condition photos from pickup and return are right there, so there's no argument about what state the thing was in.

Not yet. A reviews feature is being built now: a way to leave a word of thanks and honest feedback after a borrow, visible inside your Fold.
